About Us

I’m Thai, also known as Kai. I lead a dynamic team of friends dedicated to uncovering hidden treasures in picturesque villages that often escape the radar of tourists. Our group consists of more than 20 individuals, primarily local ethnic youths from Ha Giang province, including the Giay, Tay, H’mong, and Dao communities.

Before venturing into the tourism sector, all of us were genuine farmers with no English proficiency, expertise, or formal qualifications. However, united by a shared determination to transform our lives, we embarked on this journey together.

I am fortunate to have acquired some English skills while working at a travel company in Ha Giang city. In 2017, recognizing the untapped potential of local tourism and the abundance of youthful talent in our community, I established Kai Adventure Tours Ha Giang. Initially focusing on motorcycle tours, I personally recruited and trained individuals in English and specialized tourism knowledge. I am grateful for the influx of eager learners and collaborators who have joined us on this endeavor. Indeed, the acquisition of English proficiency has been transformative, a sentiment echoed throughout our collective learning and work experiences.

Above all, each member of our team serves as an ambassador, promoting the rich culture, warm hospitality, and stunning landscapes of Ha Giang to travelers from across the globe. In addition to striving to improve our own lives, we are committed to making positive contributions to our community.

We’re proud to give back to our community by allocating 10% of our tour proceeds towards providing English books for local students and contributing to reforestation efforts in our rocky highlands.
